Fun Cake Decorating Ideas – Holiday Cakes – Valentine Cake

It is almost Valentine’s day and that is always a great opportunity to spoil your partner.

I decided to write a quick post about a small and easy cake to impress your partner and to tell him or her you love them.

The cake shown below is actually one of the ones I made for my parent’s 40th anniversary. I made a few because they celebrated it on the day and some time later had a big party.

The reason I choose this cake is because first of all, it is a very easy cake to make and secondly, it is just big enough for two.

The cake itself is again a sponge cake and to make it look way more than it is, I used chocolates, little candies, barbie furniture and barbies. The cake actually sits on a small doll table.

It is all in the presentation!

For the Valentine version of the cake, I would leave the baby and the teddy bear out (unless it is appropriate or you want to tell him something) and possibly put small candles on the cake and have the dolls face each other.

Anyhow, I thought I would give you a quick and simple idea of a Valentine treat.
