In the spirit of the Royal wedding, I decided to post a short story on this wedding cake I made for a couple in Auckland New Zealand.
The bride-to-be, first showed me a photo of the type of wedding cake she would like to have.
As I never make any cake the same or copy anyone else’s cake, I made my own version of the cake she pointed out.
It turned out to be better than I had hoped and the bride and groom were over the moon with the cake.
The cake had to be quite sturdy as well since it had to be transported from our house to Auckland, A good two hour drive. We live out in the country on top of a hill and the only way to get there is a winding dirt road.
I had a great time creating this cake. I used fondant, chocolate and created edible flowers. You can read all about this cake in my Free Ebook, “Floral Wedding Cake Magic”, which you can get here on the right, in the yellow box, just fill in your name an email address —>
So, I don’t know if you saw the royal wedding cake or not, if not, I posted a picture on the Fun Cake Decorating Ideas Facebook page. This cake is absolutely awesome and Fabulous. It must have taken some time to create this masterpiece.
